Articulation Therapy
Correcting sound pronunciation through play — from producing individual sounds to automating them in connected speech.
What is articulation therapy?
Articulation therapy is a stage of speech correction in which a child learns to correctly pronounce sounds that are distorted or missing. We work directly with the articulation apparatus — lips, tongue, and voice — through exercises, games, and visual techniques.
Once a sound is produced, it is reinforced in syllables, words, and sentences so that speech becomes natural and clear. Sessions take place in a friendly atmosphere without pressure, which helps children engage quickly and feel safe speaking up.
When articulation therapy is needed
Parents most often notice
Distorted sounds
Hissing, sibilant, voiced, and voiceless sounds are pronounced incorrectly or replaced with other sounds.
Articulation
The tongue, lips, or jaw do not work in a coordinated way, and the child struggles to repeat after the speech therapist.
Communication
Others do not always understand the child; they feel shy speaking or avoid longer phrases.

What we aim for
Correct sounds
Clear pronunciation of all sounds within the norm for the child's age.
Confidence
The child takes part in conversations more readily, answers in class, and communicates with peers.
A lasting skill
Sounds do not "disappear" after the course — they are reinforced in everyday speech.
How the course works
Assessment
The speech therapist determines which sounds are affected and the child's current stage of correction.
Producing the sound
Learning the correct pronunciation of each sound through exercises and games.
Automation
Reinforcing the sound in words, rhymes, and dialogues — moving toward natural speech.
Follow-up
Checking the results and giving recommendations for maintaining the skill at home.
