What Neurocorrection Does for Preschoolers

Attention, memory, self-regulation — why neuropsychological sessions matter before school, and how they connect to speech and behavior.

Neurocorrection isn't "treating the brain with pills" — it's a system of exercises that helps a child learn better, concentrate, and manage their emotions.

Who it's for

  • has trouble sitting still and gets distracted quickly;
  • confuses left and right, letters and numbers;
  • follows instructions slowly;
  • is impulsive, with frequent tantrums;
  • has speech that lags behind overall development.

How these sessions differ from regular school prep

A neuropsychologist works with the functions that underlie learning: spatial awareness, visual and auditory memory, and the ability to plan a sequence of actions. This is the foundation for reading, writing, and math.

Connection with speech therapy

At Skazka Center, neurocorrection and speech therapy work hand in hand: when speech is held back by attention or self-regulation difficulties, specialists build a combined program.

What sessions look like

Typically twice a week for 45–50 minutes, in a playful format. Parents usually notice the first changes after 1–2 months of regular sessions.

Book a diagnostic assessment — we'll help you choose the right format: neurocorrection, speech therapy, or a combined program. Neuropsychology sessions are available in Bendery and Tiraspol.
